Shipping Policy

At Govtire.com, we are committed to providing a seamless and efficient tire purchasing experience. Please review our shipping policy carefully to understand how shipping is calculated, delivery expectations, and customer responsibilities.


1. Shipping Calculation

  • Shipping costs are calculated after your order is placed to provide the most accurate rate based on size, weight, and delivery location.
  • Once your order is processed, we will contact you with the final shipping cost for approval.
  • You will have the opportunity to accept or decline the shipping charges before your order is finalized and shipped.

2. Shipping Locations

  • We ship within the United States.
  • For international orders, we offer shipping on bulk purchases. Customers outside the U.S. should contact us for a personalized shipping quote and assistance.

3. Shipping Timeframes

  • Shipping timeframes vary based on your location and tire availability.
  • We will provide an estimated delivery timeframe once shipping costs are approved.
  • Please allow additional time for order processing before shipment.

4. Order Processing & Confirmation

  • Orders are typically processed within 2 business days after purchase.
  • You will receive a confirmation email with your order details and tracking information once available.

5. Freight Shipments (Large & Heavy Orders)

For large or heavy tires shipped via freight carriers, please note the following:

  • Customers must provide a commercial address for delivery. Additional fees may apply for residential delivery.
  • Customers are responsible for unloading freight shipments. If a liftgate service is required, please notify us in advance as extra charges may apply.
  • All freight shipments must be inspected upon arrival. Any visible damage must be noted on the delivery receipt before signing.

6. International Orders (Outside the U.S.)

  • Customers are responsible for all import duties, taxes, and customs fees.
  • Govtire.com is not responsible for any delays due to customs clearance.
  • International orders are final and not eligible for returns.

7. Refused or Undeliverable Shipments

If a shipment is refused or returned due to an incorrect address, the following conditions apply:

  • The customer is responsible for all return shipping charges.
  • A restocking fee of 15% may be applied to the order.
  • Any reshipment costs must be paid before the order is re-dispatched.

8. Shipping Liability & Risk of Loss

  • Once an order has been handed over to the shipping carrier, Govtire.com is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged shipments.
  • Customers must file claims directly with the shipping carrier in case of loss or damage.

9. Inspection & Damage Claims

  • Customers must inspect all tires upon delivery for any damage before signing the delivery receipt.
  • If damage is present:
    • Freight shipments: Note the damage on the delivery receipt and notify us within 48 hours.
    • Parcel shipments: Report any damage within 48 hours with photos of the tires and packaging.
  • Failure to report damage within this timeframe may result in denied claims.

10. Returns & Return Shipping

  • Please refer to our Return Policy for detailed return instructions.
  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. Govtire.com does not cover return shipping fees.
