Description
The 16.00R20 O-Ring (OR-320-T) is a "Fat" O-ring designed specifically for the large, multi-piece wheels used on heavy military and Earthmover equipment. The larger 16.00R20 assemblies (commonly found on HEMTT, PLS, and Oshkosh defense trucks) require this significantly thicker 3/8" version to seal the massive rim components. The "T" in OR-320-T stands for a specific OTR profile. It is substantially thicker (3/8") than the JM style (1/4") used on LMTV/MTV trucks. Because 16.00R20 wheels (like those on a HEMTT) carry significantly more weight and use larger rim flanges, the 3/8" O-ring provides the necessary "crush" to maintain a seal under extreme heavy-haul loads.
